The term 'boot camp' is used to describe there is a need for co-operation and team effort – similar to what will eventually happen in the SIEFs.  The idea is that everyone involved will team up and work towards the same one goal.  Boot camps provide peer support for those taking part. This provides a different environment for those who are new to REACH, new to their role and are expected to develop a high level of knowledge within a short space of time.  At the end of the sessions over the week the participants will be tested to confirm they have acquired the necessary level of understanding and competence.

Successful candidates will receive a certificate as evidence of their achievement
